Hi there, I’m Yufang Shan, and you can call me Shiny. I’m in charge of Jasmine Child Care. My story in Canada begins back in 2014 when my family and I moved from Kuwait to Vancouver. Before working here, I used to be a nurse in different places like China, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

But there’s more to me than just nursing. I really love music, especially playing the piano. I spent four years learning it at the Kuwait Music Academy. I loved it so much that I started teaching kids aged 6 to 10 how to play too. I’m really good at connecting with kids and their parents, and that’s an important part of what I do.

When I came to Canada, I decided to change my job and become an Early Childhood Educator. That means I have different certificates that show I’m good at taking care of kids, like First Aid, Food Safe, Medication Management, Healthcare Aid, Infant Toddler, and Special Needs Diplomas. Since 2016, I’ve been the manager at Ladybird Montessori Learning Academy.

I’m super committed to making sure kids grow up healthy and happy. That means I take care of everything, like their bodies, brains, and feelings. I’m here to make sure they have the best start in life.

Hello, I’m Xin Qi, but you can call me Ella. I went to Ridge Meadows College to learn about Early Childhood Education, and now I have a certificate that says I’m good at it for five years.

I really love kids. I have a 5-year-old son, and spending time with him and other kids is the best. We love exploring the beautiful places in British Columbia, like parks and nature spots.

For three years, I took care of babies and toddlers. It was such a rewarding experience. I helped them make friends, understand their feelings, learn new things, and talk better. I really care about this job, and I’m ready to use what I know to make a safe and loving place for these wonderful little ones.

In my free time, I like to help out at local community centers. I plan fun and educational activities for kids there. It’s not just a job; it’s something I enjoy doing because it helps kids learn and have a good time.

I also believe in learning more about how to do my job better. So, I’m always looking for chances to learn new things about taking care of kids. This way, I can make sure I’m doing the best I can for them.

In short, I really care about helping kids grow up happy and healthy. Every day, I’m excited to make a difference in their lives and help them learn and grow.
